‘Anything can happen out here,’ said Agent Outback. ‘Knowing how to find water can save your life!’

He showed Zac and Mick how to cut a small hole in a cactus. Then he tied his water bag over it.

‘Water from the cactus will collect in the bag,’ he told Zac and Mick. ‘Or you can try digging for water.’

Zac and Mick followed Agent Outback through the desert. They came to a rock with bugs on it.

‘You can eat some bugs in this desert,’ said Agent Outback. ‘But others are deadly. Here’s how you remember.’ He knelt down and pointed a torch at the bugs.

‘Green are clean, black dots are eat-nots,’ said Agent Outback.
